Getting hitched with Kate removes the worry and rigidity of formalities, replacing your concerns with stress-free harmony and a flexibility in structure. Every ceremony is unique, every couple’s narrative exclusive — and I do of course inject humour wherever I can.

Over a cup of tea. You tell me your tales of life and love; I listen for the details that make the ceremony yours rather than anyone else’s.

I write the whole thing from scratch, or guide you through writing your own. Nothing generic, nothing recycled, and last-minute changes are never a problem.

Rituals, if you want them
Hand fasting, sand, rose or light ceremonies. Religious or diverse expressions woven in where they mean something to you.

Rehearsal and the day itself
A run-through at the venue nearer the time, and me there on the day to officiate — keeping you relaxed and your guests engaged throughout.

I’m Kate White, and I live in the beautiful surroundings of Suffolk with my husband, our grown-up daughter’s twins keeping us busy, and a little dog called Teddy who brings us enjoyment every day.
I came to celebrancy from a background in customer service and marketing. Fate led me here, and I’d like to think I have the personality and warmth the job asks for.
My wonderful job is to make your wedding day memorable: to connect with you, and to tell your love story wherever you choose to tell it — a back garden, a field, a tent, or a manor house.

The things
everyone asks.
In England and Wales, no — a celebrant-led ceremony isn’t the legal marriage. Most couples do the legal paperwork separately at a register office, usually a short, quiet appointment, and treat the ceremony I lead as their real wedding day. I’ll talk you through exactly how the two fit together.
I’m based in Suffolk and work across the county and the surrounding counties as standard. Further afield is usually possible — ask me and I’ll quote for the venue.
Most couples book somewhere between six and eighteen months ahead. If your date is closer than that, still ask — I’d rather check the diary than have you assume.
Absolutely, and plenty of couples do. I’ll guide you through it, edit if you want me to, and make sure they land properly on the day. If writing them yourselves fills you with dread, I’ll write them for you instead.
Yes. A back garden, a field, a tent, a beach, a barn, a posh manor house — because the ceremony isn’t the legal bit, we aren’t tied to licensed venues. If you can stand in it, we can marry in it.

Holly and her team hire out wedding decor across East Anglia and the East Midlands — ceremony arches, aisle runners, chair drapes, table styling, fresh and silk florals, and the lighting that makes a barn look like this at six o’clock. They set it up and they take it down, which is one less thing on your morning.
