Kate White
Your Bespoke Wedding
Each and every wedding is different – but more than that, it should be tailored, specific and identifiable. My role as a Celebrant includes meeting you as a couple, listening to your story, discussing your needs, wants and wishes. Writing your script and vows, or just guiding you through them. Accommodating last minute changes, rehearsing at the venue nearer your big day and simply being there when needed. We can add Rituals, Hand Fasting, Sand Ceremony, Rose or Light Ceremony to your proceedings and also include religious or diverse expressions, personal to yourselves. Last but not least my responsibility and privilege is “Officiating the Wedding”.
Leave it to me…
Celebrant led Ceremony
My wonderful job is to make your Wedding Day special and memorable: connecting with you, to tell your love story in any environment, from your back garden, field, or tent to a posh manor house or hotel.
With a focus on light-hearted stories to keep you, the happy couple, relaxed and your audience entertained and engaged throughout the ceremony.
Dreams Can Come True
If you have wished for that ‘Perfect Wedding’ where everything runs smoothly and just as you wanted, then let me be of assistance!
Getting ‘Hitched with Kate’ removes the worry and rigidity of formalities, replacing your concerns with stress-free harmony and a flexibility in structure. I do not rely upon a generic, recycled script: every ceremony is unique, every couple’s narrative exclusive and I do of course inject humour wherever I can.
It's Your Day
Whatever type of wedding you choose, flamboyant and fun or classic meets contemporary, I will reflect your desires. Whether you are loves young dream, or this is second (or third) time round, your day is just as special. As a third-time-lucky married woman I am well versed in life’s chapters and can write your story with a no holds barred approach or perhaps omit certain paragraphs – it’s your choice. I cater for a Renewal of Vows Ceremony and even Elopement Ceremony's with or without guests.
About Me
I am Kate White and I live in the beautiful surroundings of Suffolk.
I have a grown-up daughter, twin grandchildren, and of course, a wonderful husband! Not forgetting our little dog Teddy who brings us enjoyment every day.
I have a background in customer service and marketing experience but found fate has led me to become a Celebrant. This is the next step in my life and hopefully you will agree that I have the personality and warmth needed for this special position.
Should you choose me to be your Wedding Celebrant, I would hope we could enjoy a cup of tea together and that you would feel comfortable enough to share your tales of life and love. We will put our heads and hearts together and I will create a script to be proud of! Then you can enjoy the bubbles and I will provide the sparkle.

What I love is that your sparkling personality comes across, along with your humour, enough for it to give you the best sense of fun but also it gives you authority and gravitas and command; it doesn't take over from the importance of the words nor the solemnity of the occasion. Your couple are front and centre and you tell their story with charm….it is so bespoke!

I loved your ad libs with the couple, showing your authority and kindness all at the same time and the bit with the groom’s ‘repeat after me’ was sweet and endearing and again, well-handled. This does happen in real life but you remain as cool as a cucumber. As for the vocal delivery... again...exceptional! It has light and shade, humour and pathos, pace and pauses all managed to great effect.

It's clear that you really enjoy the 'performance' element of celebrancy and you naturally soak up the spotlight, without stealing the limelight….that's actually a tricky line to be able to walk; you need to be in command without being overly commanding, compassionate and friendly and 'in-the-know' without being over emotional or familiar. This is a perfect balance! Well done, Kate!
